Sweeney's S.A.L.E.M. Plan

As a long-time resident of Salem and a passionate advocate for our community, I am honored to announce my candidacy for Selectman. I believe that Salem has enormous potential, and I am committed to working hard to help our town reach its full potential.

My vision for Salem is centered around a simple but powerful acronym: S.A.L.E.M. This stands for:

• Serve the taxpayer's best interests by instituting budget process reforms and identifying town needs and priorities

• Analyze current town-owned land and plans for the properties to make informed decisions about their future

• Listen to residents and stakeholders to best govern Salem collaboratively

• Engage Salem businesses and partners to best market our town to new economic growth

• Manage our town's resources and growth by examining existing town policies to best serve the people

I am eager to work with you and other Salem residents to bring this vision to life. I believe that by working together, we can make Salem a place where everyone can thrive and succeed.
